Detroit gets healthy, Philadelphia does not
Two full sessions from Gibbs and St. Brown put both on track to play Sunday. Saquon Barkley (hamstring, back) missed practice again, and DeVonta Smith (hamstring) was not seen working either. Two straight missed days puts both Eagles in real doubt for Week 8.
Ja'Marr Chase (ankle) had no limitations and said he is good to go. Travis Kelce (ankle) and Rashee Rice (hamstring, knee) were limited in Kansas City. Jaylen Waddle (chest) moved up to limited after sitting out Wednesday, and Aaron Jones (knee) returned to practice on a limited basis. Emeka Egbuka (concussion, foot) was limited in a regular jersey, with Kenneth Gainwell (hip) also limited. Stefon Diggs practiced fully.
Seattle designated Jadarian Price to return from injured reserve, and Mike Macdonald said there is a realistic chance he plays this week.
From the afternoon desk
Chicago acquired Jeffery Simmons and a 2028 fifth-round pick from Tennessee for its 2027 first- and fourth-round picks and its 2028 first. A.J. Brown (knee, ankle) and TreVeyon Henderson (ankle) missed Patriots practice. Braelon Allen returned to full practice while Breece Hall stayed limited. DJ Moore was limited again in a non-contact jersey, and Carnell Tate and Tyjae Spears missed a second Titans practice.
Thursday night
Green Bay beat Carolina 27-19 behind three Jordan Love touchdown passes. Christian Watson went to a hospital during the game, came back and finished with 113 yards, and he is now said to have a broken rib.
