  • Christian McCaffrey carries no injury designation into Sunday's game against the Raiders after finishing the week with a full practice Friday. RSO owners can plan to start him following the hamstring concern that kept him out of Wednesday's session. The official injury table lists him as limited Thursday and full Friday.

Nick Wagoner of ESPN also reports that McCaffrey is cleared to play, as carried by RotoBaller. That is firmer footing for a lineup call than Wednesday's DNP left him.

  • There is no NFL game tonight, Friday, Nov. 6. Thursday Night Football was Thursday, Nov. 5. The next slate begins Sunday, Nov. 8, with Cincinnati against Atlanta in Madrid at 9:30 a.m. ET on NFL Network, according to the Falcons' viewing guide.

San Francisco hosts Las Vegas on Sunday at 4:25 p.m. ET on FOX. The 49ers' current viewing guide lists 1:25 p.m. Pacific, which is 4:25 p.m. Eastern.

McCaffrey's clearance helps an offense missing several receivers. Mike Evans (ribs/Achilles), Deebo Samuel (hamstring) and Christian Kirk (knee) are out, while Demarcus Robinson (ankle) is questionable. Those absences can raise his receiving role, but target count is still a game-day question. Do not simply reassign the missing receivers' volume to him on paper.

For owners eyeing a replacement signing, Friday's full practice removes the immediate reason to spend for a back solely to cover McCaffrey this weekend. Keep a healthy alternative on the roster if you have one. The late kickoff matters if anything changes after your early-game options have already played.

  • Use tonight to lock McCaffrey into the planned lineup and confirm that your fallback plays late enough to stay usable. Before spending more cap, check any weekend update from the 49ers and Sunday's inactive list. Once the game starts, watch his rushing and passing-down usage before treating Friday's clearance as a full workload green light.
