Beta changelog

What’s changed, from the early Beta to today.

A selection of improvements now included in Beta, newest first. Earlier entries were reconstructed from the project history. Dates record when changes were added to the project, not exact rollout times.

· Clearer scores, player details and team moves

  • Matchup scores stay aligned when team names wrap, and the Scoreboard uses the same matchup carousel as Lineup.
  • The Scoreboard shows players in progress, yet to play and player minutes remaining beside each team name.
  • Player box scores, sortable free-agent stats and contract-year details make it easier to compare players and trade offers.
  • Practice-squad activation now asks for confirmation. Lineup and trade screens handle changing selections and delayed responses more reliably.

· A simpler home news feed

  • The home news feed now uses the RSO category feed.
  • Beat Chuck promotion returns. Feedback remains in the footer rather than the main navigation.

· Newsroom cleanup and League Home

  • News stories appear chronologically, with simpler headings and controls. Empty sections keep their navigation.
  • Business of Sports joins the news sections.
  • The selected league dashboard is restored, and League History opens the classic RSO history page.
  • The temporary announcement carousel was removed; it is not part of the current Beta.

· Better context for league decisions

  • Player details and league boards are easier to read, with clearer War Room summaries, trade details and salary-cap context.
  • Trade review and contract-option checks were corrected.
  • News lists load article summaries instead of full articles to reduce the work needed to open the page.

· A more consistent RSO experience

  • Classic pages on my.realitysportsonline.com use Beta-style navigation and page framing.
  • Your Light or Dark choice on Beta carries over to the classic site.
  • The Rising newsroom section highlights up-and-coming players.

· RSO guides in one place

  • Guides are available on Beta, linked from the footer, with instructions and reference material for playing RSO.

· More dependable lineup and report details

  • Lineup editing respects the current permission returned by RSO.
  • NFL week labels and free-agent bidding report times preserve the meaning of the original data.

· Phone reading and player-card fixes

  • Article layouts and controls work better on smaller screens.
  • Free-agent player cards in War Room open correctly.

· More readable league tables

  • War Room tables and matchup summaries are easier to use on phones.
  • Contract layouts were improved, and lineup loading failures are shown instead of leaving the screen unexplained.

· News by topic

  • Newsroom filters organize stories into Injuries, The Beat, NFL News, Recaps and Previews.

· A more useful Huddle

  • Huddle topics are saved, with measured viewer counts for each topic.
  • The Huddle respects Light and Dark themes, and its search and controls fit the page more cleanly.

· The Huddle and personalized news

  • The Huddle adds a community discussion board.
  • My News brings a personalized news view to the Beta experience.

· Your teams together in My RSO

  • My RSO brings team overviews, matchups and the newsroom together.
  • Dense player tables scroll sideways on phones so names and stats have room to stay readable.

· War Room and player profiles

  • War Room brings roster planning, salary-cap information, draft picks, watch lists and trade-block players together.
  • Player names across league boards open player profiles.

· League tools inside Beta

  • Native league pages add matchups, players, salary cap, transactions, draft, playoffs and rules.
  • Waivers, trades, contracts and team pages join the Beta league workspace.

· The RSO newsroom takes shape

  • Beta becomes an RSO newsroom with newsletter signup and a return path after sign-in.
  • Signed-in league data begins appearing directly on Beta pages.
