  • Lamar Jackson will start Sunday at Buffalo with no injury designation, the Ravens confirmed Friday, after missing three games with a high ankle sprain. Ian Rapoport repeated it on NFL Network Friday night. The same final injury reports took DeVonta Smith, Emeka Egbuka and RJ Harvey out of Week 8.

  • Who is out

Philadelphia ruled out Smith (hamstring) for Sunday night against Washington, along with Dontayvion Wicks (ankle). Saquon Barkley carries no designation after two missed practices.

Tampa Bay ruled out Egbuka (concussion, foot) against Atlanta, and Kenneth Gainwell (hip) is questionable. Tennessee will be without rookie Carnell Tate (shoulder) and Tyjae Spears, who misses a second straight game. Denver ruled out Harvey (knee), though Underdog NFL, citing a Denver reporter, says the injury is not believed to be severe or long term. Atlanta ruled out Brian Robinson, and the Chargers will play the Rams without Derwin James.

    Who is trending toward playing

Rashee Rice and Ladd McConkey are both set to play, per Pro Football Talk's read of the final reports. Jeremy Fowler said he is "pretty confident" Dalton Kincaid (chest) plays despite a questionable tag. George Pickens (shoulder, hamstring) and Jakobi Meyers (hamstring, ankle) are questionable, Meyers after missing Friday's practice.

In Seattle, Jadarian Price (chest) practiced fully after his return designation from injured reserve, Zach Charbonnet (knee) dipped to limited, and Rashid Shaheed (knee) missed practice again before Monday night against Chicago.

    Beyond the injury report

Washington defensive tackle Daron Payne suffered a significant foot injury in Friday's practice. Rapoport and Mike Garafolo both say he is out for the foreseeable future and likely headed to injured reserve, and the team downgraded him to out. Carolina fired defensive coordinator Ejiro Evero and defensive passing game coordinator Jonathan Cooley, and Miami claimed edge rusher Jamree Kromah off waivers from Chicago.

  • What RSO owners should do

Start Jackson with no hedging. Move Smith and Egbuka out of lineups now, and lean on Price over Charbonnet only if Seattle's Saturday report confirms the order. Harvey owners can hold, since this looks short term. Keep a pivot ready for Gainwell, Meyers and Pickens.

Watch Saturday's 4 PM ET practice squad elevation deadline, a possible injured reserve move for Payne, and Sunday's inactive lists 90 minutes before kickoff.
