What's confirmed and what isn't. Two national insiders have the change, and RotoWire notes it comes two days after Nick Sirianni said McKee would make a fourth straight start. Sirianni is the next person to watch for an on-the-record confirmation.
Why Philadelphia is moving. The Eagles are 2-6 and have lost six straight. McKee went 0-3 as the starter, completing 63.2 percent of his passes at 5.6 yards per attempt with two touchdowns and two interceptions, per RotoWire. In Sunday night's 27-10 loss to Washington he threw for 212 yards with no touchdowns, one interception and five sacks taken. Milton becomes the fourth Eagles quarterback to throw a pass this season, after Jalen Hurts, Andy Dalton and McKee.
ESPN's Jeremy Fowler said part of the appeal is Milton's mobility, which gives a team that has struggled to run the ball another way to move it.
What RSO owners should do now. In superflex and 2QB leagues, Milton is a reasonable add for a team in a bye or injury pinch, with a cheap bid and no long contract. His mobility gives him a rushing floor in fantasy scoring. McKee goes to the bench in every format. He is headed for free agency next spring, so dynasty owners can drop him if they need the roster spot.
For Saquon Barkley and the Philadelphia receivers, a quarterback who can run may help the ground game, but this offense has not moved the ball for weeks. Keep Barkley in lineups and keep expectations modest for the rest.
