  • The Dallas Cowboys beat the Philadelphia Eagles 38-21 on Monday Night Football in Philadelphia, per ESPN's final box score. Dallas moves to 3-4, and the Eagles drop to 2-5 with their fifth straight loss. The game turned late in the third quarter, when Dak Prescott hit CeeDee Lamb for a 16-yard score and ran in the two-point try to go up 28-21. Dallas scored the last 18 points.

  • The stat lines that matter

Javonte Williams carried 25 times for 155 yards and a 2-yard touchdown, with a long of 34. Prescott completed 15 of 27 passes for 212 yards and three touchdowns with no interceptions. Lamb caught five of 12 targets for 74 yards and two scores. George Pickens added four catches for 57 yards and a 21-yard touchdown, and Ryan Flournoy chipped in four for 70.

Tanner McKee started at quarterback for Philadelphia and went 23 of 35 for 211 yards, one touchdown and one interception, which DeMarvion Overshown picked off. Rookie Makai Lemon led the Eagles with seven catches for 67 yards and a 4-yard touchdown on eight targets. Dallas Goedert caught five of seven targets for 48 yards.

The duds were Jake Ferguson, held without a catch on one target, and Hollywood Brown, with two catches for 30 yards on five looks.

    What changed for RSO owners

Saquon Barkley scored on the opening drive and finished with 62 yards on seven carries, then left with a back injury. The Eagles listed him as questionable to return, and he didn't get back to his early workload. After the game, Barkley said he tweaked his hamstring on his first run and hurt his back compensating for it. Dameon Pierce took over, with 47 yards and a touchdown on 14 carries, and out-snapped Barkley 21 to 8 by halftime.

Williams is the clear lead back in Dallas, with 25 carries against 10 for Tyler Goodson.

  • What to do now

Keep Williams in lineups as a weekly starter. Barkley owners should add Pierce now if he is free, since the injury now involves both the hamstring and the back. Lemon's target share makes him worth a roster spot in deeper leagues. Don't panic on Ferguson after one quiet night.
