  • The Bears beat the Seahawks 34-17 on Monday Night Football, according to the ESPN box score. D'Andre Swift ran for three touchdowns, and Chicago is now 6-2. Earlier Monday, Cardinals coach Mike LaFleur named Gardner Minshew the starting quarterback going forward, per ESPN and NFL Network.

  • Monday night

Swift carried 27 times for just 69 yards, but his three short scores give him 10 rushing touchdowns, most in the league. Caleb Williams went 24 of 34 for 247 yards and a touchdown with no turnovers.

For Seattle, Jaxon Smith-Njigba caught six passes for 118 yards and a touchdown. Jadarian Price, activated from injured reserve Monday, led the backfield with 10 carries for 29 yards. Zach Charbonnet had six carries, and Emanuel Wilson didn't get one a week after his 100-yard game.

    Confirmed Monday

Minshew takes over after leading Arizona's comeback in Sunday's 33-30 overtime win at Dallas. Rookie Carson Beck moves up to backup, and Jacoby Brissett, who started all eight games, drops to the emergency third quarterback.

Chargers coach Jim Harbaugh said David Njoku will likely have his practice window opened from IR this week. Once it opens, Los Angeles has 21 days to activate him.

Falcons coach Kevin Stefanski ruled Zachariah Branch out for the Madrid game against Cincinnati with a hamstring injury.

  • Cleveland waived running back Audric Estime, according to the ESPN transactions log.

    Trade talk

The Chiefs, Steelers and Commanders have interest in Jaguars receiver Brian Thomas Jr., per ProFootballTalk. Jacksonville hasn't shown much interest in moving him, and no deal is in place. The deadline is Tuesday, Nov. 10.

What RSO owners should do now

Minshew is a fair pickup in deeper leagues, and Brissett owners can let him go unless he gets traded. Swift owners should keep starting him for the goal-line work while living with the low yardage. Seattle's backfield is split three ways for now, so don't pay up for any one of those backs yet. Njoku owners with an open IR spot should hold.

    What to watch next

Watch Seattle's carry split next week, Njoku's first practice, any movement on Thomas before the deadline, and Wednesday's first injury reports for Thursday's Jaguars and Ravens game.
