Williams went 24 of 34 for 247 yards, one touchdown and no interceptions, and was sacked once. His 1-yard score to Luther Burden III capped a 17-play opening drive. Swift carried 27 times for only 69 yards, a 2.6 average, but scored from the 1 and twice from the 5. Roschon Johnson had 5 carries for 17 yards. Rome Odunze led the team with 87 yards on 4 catches from 6 targets. Colston Loveland caught 7 of 9 targets for 65 yards. Burden caught 7 of 9 for 56 yards and the touchdown. Kalif Raymond added a 39-yard run on third down. Cairo Santos made field goals from 44 and 38 yards.

On defense, Jeffery Simmons had 6 tackles, 2 tackles for loss, a sack and a pass defensed in his first game since the trade from Tennessee.

Sam Darnold went 17 of 34 for 188 yards, two touchdowns and one interception, and was sacked three times. His fourth-quarter pick set up Swift's third score. Jaxon Smith-Njigba caught 6 of 11 targets for 118 yards, including a 43-yard touchdown just before halftime. Cooper Kupp caught one pass, a 7-yard touchdown. Tory Horton had 3 catches for 26 yards on 6 targets and caught the two-point try.

  • Seattle ran for 81 yards. Jadarian Price, back from IR, had 10 carries for 29 yards and 2 catches for 8. Zach Charbonnet had 6 carries for 23 in his return. Emanuel Wilson did not get a carry after his 100-yard game last week, according to Underdog NFL.

What RSO owners should do now

Keep starting Swift for the volume and goal-line work, but don't expect this scoring rate every week on 2.6 yards a carry. Burden and Loveland each drew 9 targets, so both belong in lineups in deeper formats, while Odunze remains the big-play option.

Smith-Njigba is the only Seattle pass catcher to trust. Price leads the backfield for now, but three backs splitting a weak run game makes all of them risky starts. Wilson owners can bench him.
