Packers activate Josh Jacobs, who is expected to play Sunday at Detroit

The Packers activated Josh Jacobs from the Commissioner's Exempt list on Saturday, and he is expected to play Sunday at Detroit, per Adam Schefter. ESPN's transaction log confirms the move, and Underdog called it official Saturday afternoon.

Jacobs missed Green Bay's first six games. The league's conduct review is still open, so a suspension remains possible, though those six games would count toward any penalty. For now, he is back on the active roster for Week 7.

He headed a busy Saturday of activations. Schefter's list of players activated and expected to play Sunday also includes Vikings back Jordan Mason, Broncos back Jonah Coleman, Texans receiver Tank Dell and 49ers receiver Christian Kirk. ESPN's transaction log lists each of those moves.

The rest of Saturday's news that matters for RSO rosters:

Lamar Jackson was downgraded to out for Sunday against the Bengals after a week of limited practices with an ankle injury.

The Eagles ruled out DeVonta Smith and Dontayvion Wicks for Monday night against Dallas. Saquon Barkley is questionable with a hamstring injury, per Underdog.

The Chiefs put Brashard Smith on injured reserve with a hamstring injury and signed Jaydn Ott to the 53-man roster. Smith misses at least four games.

The Browns activated Dylan Sampson from IR and expect him to play against Tennessee. The Giants ruled out tight end Theo Johnson for Sunday at Houston.

Denver put Tyler Badie on IR when it activated Coleman. Arizona, already without Jeremiyah Love, signed back Evan Hull to its active roster from the practice squad.

Underdog relayed a report that the Giants and Vikings could be suitors for Jonathan Taylor if the Colts make him available. Nothing is confirmed, and no trade talks have been announced.

On the cap side, the Browns and defensive tackle Maliek Collins agreed to a two-year, $30 million extension with $23 million in total guarantees, per Schefter and Ian Rapoport.

What to do now: Jacobs, Mason and Coleman can go back into lineups if you have them on the bench. Owners who rostered a fill-in should check Sunday's inactive lists before locking anything. Have a Ravens fallback ready for Jackson and a Monday plan for Smith and Barkley.

What to watch next: The snap shares for Jacobs, Mason and Coleman in their first games back, Barkley's status before Monday night, and any league ruling on Jacobs.
