What is confirmed
Kenneth Walker III leads Kansas City with 665 rushing yards and six touchdowns on 106 carries, per ESPN. Patrick Mahomes has thrown for 1,309 yards, nine touchdowns and three interceptions. Rashee Rice is out again with a hamstring injury, his second straight missed game, and RB Brashard Smith and LT Josh Simmons are on injured reserve. Tackle Jaylon Moore (concussion) is also out, and CB L'Jarius Sneed (knee) is questionable.
On the other side, Jaxon Smith-Njigba has 49 catches for 717 yards and seven touchdowns. Seattle ruled out Zach Charbonnet on Friday, which leaves Emanuel Wilson, the team's leading rusher at 303 yards, as the likely lead back. Sam Darnold has 1,033 passing yards with seven touchdowns and seven interceptions. Backup QB Drew Lock (elbow) is questionable, and linebackers Drake Thomas and Chazz Surratt are out.
Expected to play
LB Uchenna Nwosu and S Nick Emmanwori, both questionable with hip injuries, are expected to go, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. That gives Seattle most of its front seven against Walker.
What RSO owners should do now
Walker and Smith-Njigba are locked-in starts. With Rice out, Travis Kelce (20 catches, 299 yards) is the safest Kansas City pass catcher, and the rest of the receiver room is a matchup play at best. In Seattle, Wilson is a reasonable flex if you need a back from a late game, but expect a committee feel. If you hold Rice in a contract league, this is another week of dead cap in your lineup, so make sure he is benched.
