  • Dak Prescott gets another chance to match Jordan Love on Sunday night, with Dallas trying to recover from a 24-16 home loss to Tampa Bay. The Cowboys visit the Packers at Lambeau Field at 8:20 p.m. Eastern on NBC, bringing a 2-3 record into a game against 3-2 Green Bay.

Their last meeting ended 40-40 after overtime. Love has thrown six touchdowns without an interception in his two starts against Dallas, including the playoffs, according to the Packers' game notes. Dallas now has to limit the downfield throws that Green Bay's receivers can turn into quick scores.

The opening segment of ESPN's Sunday NFL Countdown examines Love's deep passing and the problems it presents for Dallas:

  • Dallas changes the view from the sideline

Christian Parker will call the Cowboys' defense from the sideline, while newly hired senior defensive assistant Mike Pettine works from the coaches' booth. Brian Schottenheimer told 105.3 The Fan on Friday that Pettine reports directly to him and has been studying film as he catches up with the defense.

Dallas will be without DeMarvion Overshown, Cobie Durant and Drew Shelton, as expected. Joey Porter Jr. and Ameer Speed are not on the final inactive list after carrying questionable designations during the week.

    Prescott has weapons to answer

Green Bay's safeties have their own difficult assignment. CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens entered the week with a combined 66 catches for 857 yards and five touchdowns. In the Packers' official preview, Xavier McKinney and Evan Williams discussed disguising coverages long enough to keep Prescott from identifying favorable one-on-one throws before the snap.

  • Prescott had been sacked only six times through five games. The Cowboys scored 102 points across three games before managing 16 against Tampa Bay, leaving Green Bay to prepare for an offense capable of much more than its last outing.

Green Bay cornerback Brandon Cisse is active after being questionable with a hip injury. Benjamin St-Juste remains out, and guard Aaron Banks is also inactive. Defensive tackle Anthony Campbell returns after missing three games with an ankle injury.
