  • Thursday reshaped the Week 6 quarterback board and left several every-week skill players on Friday's short list. Here is what matters for RSO owners after Denver's 17-14 win over Seattle.

  • Jalen Hurts is out Sunday. The Eagles confirmed Hurts will miss the Carolina game because of a superficial blood clot in his calf, first found in London and tracked on a Wednesday night follow-up ultrasound. Ian Rapoport, Tom Pelissero and NFL.com carried the club statement. Tanner McKee is next on the depth chart while the medical staff sets a treatment plan. Sit Hurts for Week 6.

Lamar Jackson missed a second practice. Adam Schefter and Underdog NFL matched Baltimore's Thursday report: Jackson (ankle) did not practice after sitting Wednesday. Pro Football Talk wrote that Tyler Huntley is the more likely Week 6 starter if that pattern holds. Do not lock Jackson until Friday's designations.

Jalon Daniels starts again in Tampa Bay. Baker Mayfield (dislocated right thumb) did not practice Thursday. Rick Stroud, Ian Rapoport and Mike Garafolo all pointed to Daniels as the starter against Pittsburgh, his third straight start. Stream Daniels if you need the spot; stash Mayfield for the return.

49ers hold Deebo off IR and open Kirk's window. Kyle Shanahan said the club will keep Deebo Samuel (hamstring) off injured reserve for now because of the Week 8 bye, per Vic Tafur. Mike Evans (Achilles soreness and ribs) also sat Thursday. On the same wire, San Francisco designated Christian Kirk to return from IR, opening his 21-day practice window (ESPN transactions; Aaron Wilson). Kirk is the stash with Samuel and Demarcus Robinson out for Week 6.

Olave and DJ Moore sat again. Chris Olave (illness) missed a second straight Saints practice, per Katherine Terrell and Around The NFL. Bills receiver DJ Moore (shoulder) also missed Thursday after sitting Wednesday and Monday night, per Schefter. Friday's reports settle both before kickoff.

  • TNF board. Denver beat Seattle 17-14 on Wil Lutz's late field goal after a Sam Darnold interception. Seahawks tight end Elijah Arroyo left with a shoulder injury and was doubtful to return, per Gregg Bell and John Boyle.

Also of note. The Chargers placed fullback Alec Ingold on IR. The Rams designated tackle Keagen Trost for return. Saquon Barkley remained out of Eagles practice Thursday while DeVonta Smith was limited.

What to do now: sit Hurts, lean Huntley over Jackson until Friday clears Baltimore, start Daniels if Mayfield stays out, stash Kirk behind the open window, and wait on Olave and Moore until the final injury report.
