  • Philadelphia ruled DeVonta Smith, Hollywood Brown and Dallas Goedert out for Sunday's home game against the Rams. The final Friday report removes three established passing options from Jalen Hurts' available group, while linebacker Zack Baun is also out with a concussion.

Smith missed the entire practice week with a hamstring injury. Brown, listed with an ankle injury, and Goedert, listed with a knee injury, will each miss a second straight game. Offensive tackle Fred Johnson is also out for a second week with a knee injury.

The Eagles identify Dontayvion Wicks and Makai Lemon as receivers who will have larger roles with Smith unavailable. Wicks has nine receptions for 179 yards and a touchdown through three games, according to the team's Friday report. Philadelphia has not announced a specific target allocation for either receiver.

Baun's absence changes the linebacking group. Jeremiah Trotter Jr. is expected to start beside Jihaad Campbell, the Eagles say. Campbell was limited Friday with a knee injury and rest designation but has no game designation. Trotter has previously made two starts, giving Philadelphia an experienced reserve to use while Baun is unavailable.

Safety Marcus Epps is out with a groin injury after being added to the report during the week. Michael Carter II had been rotating with Epps. Cooper DeJean has played safety in the base defense and the slot in nickel, but coordinator Vic Fangio said Wednesday that DeJean would not become a full-time safety. The final report confirms Epps' absence without announcing a new permanent position for DeJean.

Cornerback Jonathan Jones was added Friday with a quadriceps injury, practiced fully and has no game designation. Philadelphia's remaining reported players are available under the final report.

  • For RSO lineups, Smith, Brown and Goedert need replacements for Week 4. Wicks and Lemon are the receiving options specifically identified by the team for increased roles, while the exact passing workload will depend on how the game develops.

The Eagles host the Rams Sunday, October 4, at 1 p.m. Eastern. Los Angeles regains Puka Nacua, who has no game designation, while Aaron Donald, Jaylen Watson and Terrance Ferguson are out for the Rams.
