The timing matters because Philadelphia's other top receivers are already sidelined in practice. DeVonta Smith (hamstring) and Marquise Brown (ankle) did not practice Thursday for a second straight day, a status Adam Schefter and McLane both relayed from the club. With Smith out last week, Wicks had been the next man up at receiver.
Delaware Online's Martin Frank wrote that the hamstring looks like a new injury and that the healthy wide receivers left on the 53-man roster are Makai Lemon, Elijah Moore, Darius Cooper and Britain Covey. Bleeding Green Nation's report reached the same point: if Smith, Brown and Wicks all sit Sunday, those four are the available wideouts on the active roster, with practice-squad options behind them.
Friday's injury report will carry the first game designations. Limited work Thursday does not mean Wicks is ruled out for London, but a same-day hamstring on a short week overseas is a real risk. Managers who were counting on Wicks as a Smith fill-in should line up Lemon, Cooper or Moore before designations post, and treat Wicks as unavailable until Friday's report or weekend updates say otherwise.
Dallas Goedert (knee) and several other Eagles were also limited Thursday. That is a separate recovery track. The new development for RSO rosters is Wicks joining the hamstring list while Smith remains a non-participant.
