Beat reporter Joe Buscaglia saw Moore arrive during Thursday's open period without a helmet, in a practice jersey only, watching wide receiver drills from the sideline as a non-participant. RotoWire and NBC Sports independently logged the same Thursday miss. Coach Joe Brady has not ruled Moore out for Monday night at the Rams. Brady told reporters Moore will do everything he can to play this week, and NBC Sports relayed Brady saying that if Moore feels healthy enough, the staff "owes it to the WR to let him be out there." NBC's Rivers McCown still slots Moore on the doubtful side of questionable with Friday and Saturday practices left to change that.
After Week 4, Schefter said the shoulder was not considered a long-term issue at that time. Moore has not been placed on injured reserve. Keon Coleman took a larger role once Moore exited Sunday, and Buffalo still has time before the Monday Night Football kickoff in Los Angeles.
For RSO owners, treat Moore as a week-to-week risk until Friday's practice report and game designation land. Keep him in your plans if you have no clear WR upgrade, but line up Coleman or another Bills target you can start Monday if Moore stays out Friday or draws an out or doubtful tag. There is no reason to dump him after one midweek DNP on a shoulder that is not being described as season-ending, but do not assume he is locked in for the Rams until Buffalo says so.
