  • Brian Robinson Jr. scored three rushing touchdowns while Bijan Robinson ran for 145 yards and two scores in Atlanta’s 45–24 Monday night win over New Orleans. The completed October 5 box score gave both Falcons backs productive results, with their scoring roles distributed across the entire game.

Bijan had 19 carries and Brian had 14. Brian’s touchdowns came on four-, eight- and 11-yard runs; Bijan scored from 59 and four yards. Brian finished with 62 rushing yards and one reception for five yards. Bijan added one catch for two yards on two targets.

Bijan’s first touchdown came on Atlanta’s third offensive play. His second followed a Kendre Miller fumble that gave the Falcons possession at the Saints’ 22. Brian then scored once in each of the final three quarters, completing his three-touchdown night with 6:52 left in the fourth.

  • That usage belongs to a game Atlanta controlled from the opening possession. The Falcons led 24–7 at halftime and never trailed. Both backs had substantial rushing work, but Monday’s results alone do not establish the next game’s carry allocation or guarantee another shared five-touchdown performance.

Alvin Kamara delivered two rushing touchdowns for New Orleans, from three and five yards. His rushing volume was smaller: seven carries for 23 yards. He also caught five passes for 35 yards on seven targets, giving him 58 yards from scrimmage.

The Saints’ official final recap said Kamara briefly left in the third quarter with a knee injury and returned. His return is confirmed for this game. The report did not announce a diagnosis beyond that description or make a decision about his next appearance.

  • New Orleans played without Noah Fant. Juwan Johnson finished with six catches for 59 yards on eight targets. Chris Olave led the team with eight receptions for 116 yards on 12 targets, while Devaughn Vele had six catches for 54 yards on nine targets and scored on a late three-yard pass.

Atlanta’s passing production came on fewer attempts. Michael Penix Jr. completed 15 of 20 for 223 yards, one touchdown and no interceptions. Drake London caught five passes for 96 yards on six targets. Jahan Dotson had two receptions for 54 yards on three targets, including the 31-yard fourth-quarter touchdown that extended the lead to 38–17.

  • Tyler Shough finished 30 of 48 for 286 yards, one touchdown and no interceptions. His touchdown came with 1:13 remaining, after Atlanta had already reached 45 points. That timing matters when reading the Saints’ final receiving totals alongside the game’s scoring sequence.

Atlanta hosts Baltimore next, while New Orleans stays home to face Minnesota on October 11. The Falcons leave New Orleans at 2–2; the Saints are 1–3.

Atlanta’s official game breakdown confirmed two injury departures. Defensive end Za’Darius Smith was ruled out with a concussion in the second quarter after being evaluated for a concussion and neck injury. Left tackle Jake Matthews left with a groin injury and was ruled out before the second half. The team identified Monday as his 200th career game and 199th consecutive start.
