  • Breece Hall will miss Wednesday's practice with a quadriceps injury, but the Jets have not ruled him out against Miami on Sunday.

Head coach Aaron Glenn said Hall would be evaluated as the week progresses, ESPN's Rich Cimini reported. The running back has missed New York's last three games after being injured in Week 3.

Cimini also reported that receiver Adonai Mitchell, who has a finger injury, would return to practice on a limited basis Wednesday.

  • Allen has carried the workload

Hall's continuing absence has given Braelon Allen a larger role in the backfield. RotoWire reported that Glenn acknowledged Allen would continue to receive touches when Hall returns, following his work over the past three games.

Glenn had described Hall as week to week during the previous three weeks, according to that report. He did not apply the same description Wednesday, while leaving open the possibility that Hall could play against the Dolphins.

Hall has 51 carries for 163 yards and a touchdown this season, according to his current Jets player page. His availability remains dependent on how he progresses through the rest of the practice week.
