  • Spencer Brown is cleared to play against Las Vegas on Sunday, while five Bills remain questionable. Coach Joe Brady confirmed the right tackle's availability Friday after Brown returned to full practice Thursday, according to the Bills' final injury report. Brown hurt his back in Monday night's overtime win against the Rams.

Buffalo listed receivers DJ Moore and Joshua Palmer, defensive linemen Ed Oliver and T.J. Sanders, and cornerback Dee Alford as questionable. Moore and Oliver returned to limited practice Friday after missing Wednesday and Thursday. Sanders practiced fully Friday; Palmer and Alford remained limited.

The Athletic's Joe Buscaglia also reported the questionable designations for Moore, Oliver, Palmer and Alford. Syracuse.com's Matt Parrino reported that every Bills player was on the field in some capacity Friday and that Moore wore a noncontact jersey.

Brady said the Bills would see how the injured players felt after practice before making decisions. Moore, Palmer, Oliver and Alford missed last week's game in Los Angeles.

    Earlier reporting

The Bills estimated Spencer Brown and Joshua Palmer as limited participants on Wednesday’s injury report before Sunday’s game at Las Vegas. Brown is listed with a back injury after leaving Monday night’s overtime win against the Rams; Palmer is listed with a shoulder injury after missing that game.

Buffalo held a walkthrough Wednesday, so the designations estimate what the players could have done in a normal practice. They do not establish that Brown or Palmer completed a limited-speed practice, or that either has been cleared for Sunday.

  • The team remained in Southern California after the Los Angeles game as it prepared for the Raiders. The schedule gives Buffalo a short practice week after an overtime finish, making Thursday’s work a more useful test of how its injured players respond.

Receiver DJ Moore and defensive tackle Ed Oliver were estimated as nonparticipants with shoulder and knee injuries. Cornerback Dee Alford, defensive tackle T.J. Sanders and running back Ty Johnson joined Brown and Palmer in the limited category, with ankle, shoulder and hamstring injuries, respectively.

The full-participation estimates included Christian Benford, Terrel Bernard, Bradley Chubb, Keon Coleman, Landon Jackson, C.J. Gardner-Johnson, TJ Parker and Ar’maj Reed-Adams. Those entries remain part of an estimated report and should not be read as final game designations.

Brown’s status matters to Buffalo’s right-tackle depth, while Palmer’s report is a step beyond the absence that ruled him out against Los Angeles. The Bills still have the rest of the practice week and their game-status announcement before deciding who will be available against the Raiders.
